Study the Whole Practice
Go beyond poses. Explore yoga philosophy and history, functional anatomy, human variation, sequencing, cueing, breathwork and meditation—so you understand not only what you’re teaching, but why.
Built for Real Life
You shouldn’t have to put your life on hold to become a yoga teacher. Our hybrid format combines self-paced lessons with live practice, mentorship, and hands-on labs, giving you flexibility, structure and a community to learn alongside.
Find Your Voice as a Teacher
You won’t be trained to sound like everyone else. Through practice teaching, thoughtful feedback and reflection, you’ll build the confidence to lead accessible, intentional classes that honor your students and still feel fully like you.

Let's go.
A Practice That Holds You
For 10 years, Soul City Yoga has created space for people to move, breathe, grow, and belong. We’re a Black woman-owned, community-centered yoga and movement studio serving Lynn, Malden, the North Shore, and the Greater Boston area. We are proud to be built on one unwavering belief: No One Belongs Here More Than You. Our work is rooted in accessibility, representation, curiosity, and care. We believe yoga should meet people where they are and remain relevant beyond the mat. This teacher training is a natural extension of that work: preparing thoughtful, grounded teachers who can help more people feel seen, supported, and genuinely welcomed into the practice.
